overview Justin Colyn values visionhistory faith and business contact |
about: faith and business The relationship between faith and business is huge.
It isn't the type of relationship where my Christian faith says that I should only do sound in church or for other 'events about Jesus'.
However, neither is it a relationship that allows us to leave Christianity on Sunday and carry out business the rest of the week independent of faith.
Faith has bearing on all of life. We don't view faith simply as a collection of beleifs or statements of truths. Rather, we understand faith as shaping our entire worldview, the way we view the world, or the context within which we make any decision.
Christianity makes some pretty audacious claims. It claims that Jesus Christ is sovereign over all. Our business endeavors are not our own; we have been left responsible for them and will be held accountable for our management of them.
We are accountable to carry out business in a manner that has integrity. We are to do things right.
We are accountable to carry out business with excellence. Our work is not done for ourselves. There is no room for mediocrity; the service of our clients in carried out in service to God.
We are excited to take these principles and engage all the world. These are not simply principles limited to work within the church, neither are we able to leave them at church as we engage the world.
God is honored when our very best work is applied to your presentation on your coorporation's year end reports.
God is honored when we bring flair and passion to our work, doing our very best to make your band look and sound excellent.
God is honored when every aspect of our business is carried out with integrity, reflecting the value of our clients and our appreciation for the resources we have been given.
